beyondpositive Birmingham #PositivePubCrawl
The next Positive Pub Crawl will be on FRIDAY 29th September 2017 – in Birmingham!
Summer is drawing to a close, the weather might be on it’s way out and the nights getting darker – but we won’t let that stop us! Come along to the September #PositivePubCrawl and make some new positive friends as well as helping us raise awareness.
The programme for the night is as follows:
- Eden Bar (Sherlock Street) : 19:00
- Sidewalk (Hurst Street): 20:00
- Village Inn (Hurst Street): 21:00 onwards
Quotes from people who’ve attended previous PositivePubCrawls…
“During the night I met lots of people I know ‘virtually’ for the first time and also made lots of new friends. The highlight of the evening for me was watching people visibly flourish and find comfort in their own skin – possibly for the first time since their diagnosis.”
“I attend the PositivePubCrawl as it’s a way to meet other people in the same position, who know, who understand some of the difficulties you have. It’s also a great way to be visible in the community and show we do and are entitled to have fun and do exactly the same things as everyone else. I have made some very close friends because of the pub-crawl events.” Stuart
This event is intended for people living with HIV, although HIV negative people are more than welcome to accompany a friend or partner. Please do wear red if you feel comfortable – it helps people find us, as well as raising awareness!
