AIDS 2024, the 25th International AIDS Conference hosted by the International AIDS Society, kicked off this week in Munich, Germany. The event will take place from July 22 to July 26, 2024 and includes virtual attendance options for participants worldwide.

This year’s conference theme is all about “Putting People First,” stressing the importance of a person-centered approach in tackling the HIV and AIDS epidemics. The conference aims to bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and activists to share knowledge and strategies from the past four decades of fighting HIV as well as other public health challenges from recent years – such as COVID-19 and MPOX.

The Global Village, which started on July 21st, offers a great chance to meet new people, establish connections, and share cultural experiences. The best part is that entry is complimentary to create a friendly, safe and inclusive environment for everyone participating.
